Made in Bellambi, from start to finish
After falling in love with clay, Rhiannon left her day job to make ceramics full-time. Today she works from a studio in Bellambi, between the mountains and the sea, on Dharawal land, making small runs of functional pieces designed to be used every day.
Every piece is formed by hand, dried, bisque fired, brush-glazed in layers with glazes Rhiannon develops herself, then fired again at cone 6. It takes days from raw clay to finished piece, and the hand glazing means colour settles a little differently every time.
There's no factory and no outsourcing: the same hands make it, glaze it, photograph it and pack your order.

Seconds have small cosmetic imperfections, like a slightly uneven rim or extra glaze texture, so they didn't quite meet first quality. They're just as usable and sold at a lower price in the Seconds Sale.

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is shaped and glazed by hand, so the colour and form vary a little from the photos. That's what makes each one yours.
