Earthy and alive at the same time - the kind of colours you find at the base of a garden rather than in a florist's window. The brown and green anchor the surface while the pink and peach lift it, giving the whole piece a warmth that reads differently depending on the light. Where the glazes layer and pool, the brown deepens and the peach picks up an almost amber quality.
Each planter is made in small batches from cone 6 midfire porcelain, shaped by hand and finished with care. Each piece carries its own subtle variation in glaze distribution and organic form. These small differences are the fingerprint of the handmade process. Made without drainage holes, so you can pop in your plant in its plastic pot and let it soak up water from the planter. Get in touch if you'd like yours with a drainage hole.
