Sold as seconds - minor imperfections like a slightly uneven rim or extra glaze texture mean these pieces didn't quite meet our first-quality standards, but they still have plenty of charm.

This particular platter has a crack on one of the folds of the platter. Please refer to photo. Handwashing this piece is recommended. 

Organic and lush - the kind of colours you find at eye level in the bush, where the foliage is dense and there are flowers somewhere in it. Pink and blue glow from within the form, peach and brown wrapping around them like leaf and bark. The sculptural shape is a natural match for this palette; the glaze settles into the organic curves and looks exactly where it belongs. Each platter has its own distribution of pink and green; the balance shifts with every firing.

Handmade means one-of-a-kind. Each platter is made in small batches from white speckled cone 6 midfire clay, shaped by hand and finished with care. The sculptural, organic form means every platter sits slightly differently - no two edges are exactly the same. Expect small differences in shape and glaze; these aren't flaws, they're the fingerprint of the process and what makes your platter uniquely yours.
