Vivid and swirling - this platter looks like something that formed under enormous pressure and came out the other side extraordinary. Purple and orange hold opposing positions across the surface, with green and blue rushing in between them. The organic sculptural form amplifies the drama of the glaze; the colours move with the shape rather than sitting flat on it. Each platter is its own swirl; the arrangement never repeats.
Handmade means one-of-a-kind. Each platter is made in small batches from white speckled cone 6 midfire clay, shaped by hand and finished with care. The sculptural, organic form means every platter sits slightly differently - no two edges are exactly the same. Expect small differences in shape and glaze; these aren't flaws, they're the fingerprint of the process and what makes your platter uniquely yours.
