A cool blue-green that feels pulled from a tidal pool, sitting against clay that is almost black. The seafoam glaze has a watery translucency on the dark stoneware, shifting between blue and green depending on the light and the angle. Spike placement and glaze coverage vary naturally across each piece, making every vessel slightly different in texture and tone.
Handmade from rich black cone 6 midfire stoneware and finished with hand-applied clay spikes that create an expressive, tactile surface. The contrast between the smooth curves of the body and the sharp protrusions is the thing - the dark clay deepens the glaze and casts shadows across every detail. Designed to hold flowers or plants, or stand alone as a decorative object.
