These small planters are 14cm tall and 14cm wide - the size that suits most indoor plants. Devil's ivy, peace lilies, hoyas, herbs on a kitchen windowsill. It's the original form in the range, and the one the large planters are scaled from.
Each one comes with a drainage hole, so you can plant straight into the ceramic and water without worrying about roots sitting in it. If you'd rather use it as a cover pot without a hole, get in touch before ordering and I'll make yours without one.
The planters are formed to a consistent shape at the studio, trimmed at leather-hard, then brush-glazed by hand in layers and fired twice in a cone 6 kiln. That second firing makes the porcelain dense and hard-wearing, which is what lets these work outdoors as well as in. The glazes are abstract and colourful, and because every planter is glazed individually, no two are exactly alike. Colourways rotate as new batches come out of the kiln.

Yes, both. The porcelain is fired to cone 6, which makes it dense and weather-hardy for both indoors and outdoors. Just remember the drainage hole - outdoors that's exactly what you want, indoors you'll want a dish or saucer underneath.
