Sold as seconds. Each cup is sound and usable, with a small flaw that differs from one to the next - usually in the glaze, such as a thin patch, a spot of extra texture, or a drip that has run thick.
Four different glazes in one set: one in solid yellow, one in peach and lilac fading into pink, one in yellow with pink gathering at the rim, and one in blue and teal cut through with red. Each sits on a heavily speckled unglazed base.
Each cup is made in white speckled cone 6 midfire clay with the glaze applied by hand, so the colour depth and finish are unique to every piece.
