  • 🫓 Handmade oyster platter - white speckled cone 6 midfire clay
  • 📐 ~28 cm wide
  • 🎨 Brush-glazed in soft pink, peach and cream

Sold as a second. A superficial crack in one of the folds filled with glaze during firing, so the piece stays sturdy. You can see it in the photos. Inside another fold there are some textural scratches in the surface. Neither affects how the platter is used.

No two are exactly alike. Each platter is made in small batches from white speckled cone 6 midfire clay, shaped by hand and finished with care. The sculptural, organic form means every platter sits slightly differently - no two edges are exactly the same.

My plates arrived very well packaged. They are the perfect size and the patterns are beautiful. The colours aren’t quite the same as in the photos, but still beauriful. The backs are a little rougher than I expected, but make sense given the plates are handmade. I’m waiting for the bowls to come back in stock so I can increase my collection!
