Bright at the top, where the glaze breaks into a drift of golden freckles on the way down. The yellow starts dense at the rim and opens into a freckled, stippled pattern below - the kind of surface you keep noticing new things in. The freckle pattern is unique to every piece.
A cup that makes your long black worth sitting down for. Made in cone 6 midfire porcelain and brush-glazed in yellow. Each layer of glaze is applied by hand, so the colour depth and finish are unique to every piece.

These mugs bring some brightness to my mornings ! I’m very picky about my mugs and the size and weight and overall feel of these are great. Whilst seconds, I can’t see why they didn’t “make the cut”. Very happy with them.
