Sold as seconds - minor imperfections like a slightly uneven rim, glaze drips that come away or extra glaze texture mean these pieces didn't quite meet our first-quality standards, but they still have plenty of charm.
The quietest platter in the range - pale, unhurried, and completely lovely. Soft pink, peach and cream melt together across the speckled stoneware, the glaze pooling gently in the organic hollows of the form. There is nothing demanding about this one; it just sits there looking beautiful. Each platter carries its own depth of tone; some run a little warmer, others almost white at the edges.
Handmade means one-of-a-kind. Each platter is made in small batches from white speckled cone 6 midfire clay, shaped by hand and finished with care. The sculptural, organic form means every platter sits slightly differently - no two edges are exactly the same. Expect small differences in shape and glaze; these aren't flaws, they're the fingerprint of the process and what makes your platter uniquely yours.
