Light purple and blue, almost see-through where the glaze runs thin. It drifts down the mug, weightless, the way a jellyfish hangs in the water. Some mugs finish in a clean line, others trail rounded drips below the foot and off the handle.
When one coffee isn’t going to be enough. This large mug holds 450 mL - room for a double-shot latte, a generous pour-over, or whatever it takes to get the morning started. Made in cone 6 white midfire stoneware and dip-glazed in light purple and blue, left unglazed below the glaze line so the white clay shows through. Each layer of glaze is applied by hand, so the colour depth and finish are unique to every piece.
