At 10cm wide and 6cm deep, these sit somewhere between a condiment dish and a cereal bowl. Deep enough for a proper serve of dip or a handful of nuts, small enough that a few can share the table without crowding the main plates.
Set a few out with dips and crackers, keep one by the stove for salt flakes or chilli oil, or use them for dessert when a full bowl is too much. They're made for sides, accompaniments and the little extras that make a meal feel generous.
Each bowl is made in cone 6 midfire porcelain. The glaze is brushed on in layers and runs in soft drips down the curved walls, closer to watercolour than pattern. Sorbet washes green and white with blushes of purple and peach. Colour Theory swirls purple and green above orange and yellow. Opal is deep blue-green, like looking into a rock pool. Colourways change as new batches come out of the kiln.

They're the same depth but half the width. The pasta bowls are around 20cm across and made for a main meal, while the small bowls are 10cm and made for sides. They look good together on the table.
