Smoosh vases come in two sizes. The small is about 12.5cm tall, made for a single stem or a small bunch of flowers. The large is about 20cm tall and holds a medium to large bouquet, or stands on its own as a sculptural piece on a shelf or sideboard.
The form is the fun part. Three rounded tiers taper up to a small opening, each one a little squashed, so the silhouette looks soft and playful. The tiers change how the glaze behaves: colour gathers in the dips between them and runs down in drips towards the bare base.
They're made in cone 6 midfire stoneware. Colourways run from single bold colours like Red and Moss Green to mixes like Correa, Rainbow and Fizz. Colourways rotate as new batches come out of the kiln.
