Smoosh vases come in two sizes. The small is about 12.5cm tall, made for a single stem, a small posy or a few dried flowers. The large is about 20cm tall and holds a medium to large bouquet, or stands on its own as a sculptural piece on a shelf or sideboard.
The form is the fun part. Three rounded tiers taper up to a small opening, each one a little squashed, so the silhouette looks soft and playful. The tiers change how the glaze behaves: colour gathers in the dips between them and runs down in drips towards the bare base.
They're made in speckled white stoneware or white cone 6 midfire porcelain, and each listing says which. Colourways run from single bold colours like Red and Moss Green to mixes like Correa, Rainbow and Fizz. Colourways rotate as new batches come out of the kiln.
