Like someone left a paint palette in the kiln and walked away. Green, pink, peach, brown, and blue move across the surface with no obvious order - which is exactly what makes it so interesting to look at. Each mug has a completely different arrangement of colour; no two are even close. This batch came out of the kiln drippier than usual, the glaze running the full height of the mug and gathering in thick beads along the base.
Your everyday mug, but better. These mugs are made in cone 6 midfire stoneware and brush-glazed in Bottlebrush: green, pink, peach, brown, and blue. Each layer of glaze is applied by hand, so the colour depth and finish are unique to every piece.
