Every cup drips a little differently, and this one caught a cloud of pink and lilac at the rim. The colour gathers thick where it starts, then breaks into a soft spray of speckles as it slides down, thinning out as it drips toward the bare clay foot. Watch the way the glaze pauses mid-drip, and no two are ever quite the same.
A cup that makes your long black worth sitting down for. Made in cone 6 midfire porcelain and brush-glazed in yellow. Each layer of glaze is applied by hand, so the colour depth and finish are unique to every piece.
