Named for the coastal shrub that flowers mauve and white along this stretch of coast. Light purple and deep blue gather at the rim and fall in soft columns, thinning to white where the glaze runs out and pooling darker where it catches. The colours land in a different order on every mug.
Your everyday mug, but better. These mugs are made in cone 6 midfire stoneware and brush-glazed in Westringia: light purple, dark purple, deep blue and white. Each layer of glaze is applied by hand, so the colour depth and finish are unique to every piece.
