Rich and earthen, with a warmth that comes from the brown and pink sitting close together. Blue moves across the surface in deeper, settled tones - not trying to pop, just grounding everything. At 35 cm wide, it holds the glaze with a kind of quiet authority. Each platter carries its own depth; the brown reads differently depending on where the glaze pooled.
Handmade means no two are exactly alike. Each platter is made in small batches from cone 6 midfire stoneware, shaped by hand and finished with care. The sculptural, organic form means every platter sits slightly differently - no two edges are exactly the same. My plates arrived very well packaged. They are the perfect size and the patterns are beautiful. The colours aren’t quite the same as in the photos, but still beauriful. The backs are a little rougher than I expected, but make sense given the plates are handmade. I’m waiting for the bowls to come back in stock so I can increase my collection!
I love these deep dinner plates! I think they're the best dinner plates Rhiannon has made so far! I love the shape and feel of them, love the side wall so my did doesnt run away (I'm clumsy ok)
