The Oyster lamp takes its form from the sculptural, rippled layers of an oyster shell - organic and quietly luminous. This piece is glazed in Blossom, hand-applied in green, pink, peach, and white on a cone 6 midfire stoneware base. No two brush strokes land the same way, so no two are exactly alike. At 30 cm it is a larger piece, with real presence on a sideboard or hall table.
