- 🫓 Handmade oyster platter - cone 6 midfire stoneware
- 📐 ~28 cm wide
- 🎨 Brush-glazed in Blossom: pink, green, peach and white
Sold as seconds. This platter has a crack in one of the folds of the rim, visible in the photos. Extra care is needed with a cracked piece: hand wash it, and avoid sudden changes in temperature.
Pink and green moving across the sculptural form, peach settling into the organic hollows and white holding the edges open. The shape does something particular with this palette - the colours follow the curves of the platter rather than sitting flat on a surface, and the result feels more like something that grew than something that was made. This one carries its own distribution of the four colours.
Made in cone 6 midfire stoneware and brush-glazed in Blossom: pink, green, peach and white. The sculptural form means every platter sits a little differently and no two edges are the same.

My plates arrived very well packaged. They are the perfect size and the patterns are beautiful. The colours aren’t quite the same as in the photos, but still beauriful. The backs are a little rougher than I expected, but make sense given the plates are handmade. I’m waiting for the bowls to come back in stock so I can increase my collection!
